We went hiking on Martin Luther King Day, to the top of Mt. Diablo. (NOT from the bottom; we drove most of the way up first!) On a clear day, the view from Mt. Diablo is second only to Mt. Kilimanjaro in Africa (according to the tour books). I was waiting in the car with Rachel (who was ill and only lasted about 20 minutes on the hike before collapsing) but she and I saw a big raccoon a few feet away from us, stealing pop tarts from picnickers and devouring them. Rachel thinks that's better than a steep hike anyday!

Mt Diablo is next to where Rodney grew up--Clayton, CA--he could see it everyday from his parents' house. I LOVED Rahcel's hair and we all were in awe at Isaac's piano skills. I think Larsen's new goal is to play like that. (GO ISAAC!!!)
