New Year's Eve

Isaac and Rachel played "Wacky 6" (a card game like Nerts) for hours

Josh (with Eliza's help) loved being the tallest one in the family

The children wanted to go out to dinner on New Year's Eve, but we did an "at-home-restaurant" because it was much cheaper! And even more fun, since we got to make the food... Lyrad and Eliza made sushi....
Josh made his specialty, deviled eggs...
We had a French waiter named Pierre...

Then Isaac, Madi, and Eliza headed off to the New Year's Eve Dance at church with their friend Miriam.
Yay for 2009 -- a great year! We're excited to see what 2010 has in store! Our big event for 2010 is our move to Austin, Texas, in late June, where Lyrad will do a one-year OB fellowship.

What will the fellowship enable him to do that he can't already do?

I love to follow your blog. And how exciting to move to Austin. What are your kids thinking about it? I mentioned moving to Lindsey the other day and she struggled with the idea (we're here for at least another 18 months). Will you return to CA? Is Lyrad going to retire in the AF?
