We have lived in Provo, St. Louis, Travis AFB, Guam, England, Germany, Vacaville (CA), Austin (TX) and now we get to try out life in Florida. Never a dull moment at our crazy house...

Day trip on Martin Luther King, Jr, Day

We had a fun Family Day on Monday, exploring Florida Caverns State Park near Tallahassee.
Josh loved the stalagmites and stalagtites and had lots of questions for the tour guide.  When the guide asked questions, eager Josh was the first to raise his hand.  Lyrad and I loved watching his enthusiasm and laughed when he managed to be first in line when entering a new part of the cave tour.
This is the "Wedding Room" because of the "wedding cake" in the background.  People really do have their weddings in here.

We were underground for 45 minutes, exploring room after room of caverns!

We found these cute tiny bats
Can you find the bat??  (near the right side)

On a hike at the state park, Rachel found a gnome's house
 We stopped at Rosemary Beach
Lyrad and I wore coats and watched Rachel and Joshua brave the cold water

Rosemary Beach is the cutest town and reminds us of a European town (except that it's brand new)

Yum!  Chocolate soup, anyone??  (the menu also offered chocolate-covered bacon)

We finished off our family outing with a trip to our favorite place -- a frozen yogurt shop!  And within a few months, our town will have its very own frozen yogurt shop.  Whoo-hoo!!!
