Running a 5K

 Rachel ran her 2nd 5K, this time to benefit the high school band (which she will join this summer).

 Lyrad and his brother Keyan ran the race, with Keyan's wife Becky.  Becky and I run for 1-2 hours together every Monday and want to run a half marathon, but we can't find one nearby on a Saturday.  And before long it will be too hot.   (I didn't run this 5K because I wanted to go to the annual stake women's conference instead.  Besides, if I'd run then Lyrad would've had to go slow with me and he wouldn't have gotten his name in the paper for 2nd place!)

 Josh and his 3 cousins ran the 1-mile fun run around the track.  Little Sam got 1st place, running FIVE laps while everyone else ran 4!!
