We have lived in Provo, St. Louis, Travis AFB, Guam, England, Germany, Vacaville (CA), Austin (TX) and now we get to try out life in Florida. Never a dull moment at our crazy house...

Isaac's summertime

Isaac had Madi's room for the summer, wh ile Madi shared with Eliza and went to Utah for several weeks. But when Madi started school and wanted her own room back, Isaac fixed up the den for his room.  Check out his creative "closet"...
When Isaac wasn't working at Whataburger, he grew one last "beard".
Isaac was honored to have a hurricane named after him.  But after a few days of preparation (and a day off of school!), Hurricane Isaac  bypassed us and all we got was a brief heavy rain.  Isaac, Eliza and Madi were disappointed but did enjoy the rain while it lasted.

He earned a yellow Mormon Helping Hands t-shirt by going along with ward members to help with flood clean-up near New Orleans after Hurricane Isaac
Isaac and other men (and YM) hauled things out of flooded houses and piled them on the curbs (above)
Isaac had all 4 wisdom teeth extracted, but recovered amazingly well and was playing and coaching soccer the next day
He played a lot of piano this summer...
...and even more soccer.  The humidity and heat never slowed him down.
