Isaac and Singing Sam

Isaac loved carrying Sam (his "best little buddy") around on his shoulders. Every time we saw a tree trunk with a large opening, Sam wanted to stand in the opening with Isaac and have their picture taken. A highlight of the trip for me was sitting by the river while Sam dug in the sand nearby singing "Uptown Girl" with all his heart. Isaac loved to ride in Sam's car on our long drive home from camping, because Sam sang "You are so Beautiful" most of the way home.
