Madi at age 13 1/2

Madi now has braces and it hasn't been too bad, except for when she's trying to play the trumpet!

She loves to hold the camera in front of her to take "self-portraits" and I always find a whole lot of them when I go to download the camera. Madi is great in the kitchen and made a wonderful Mediterranean chicken pizza last week. We miss Madi this week, as she and Eliza are in Utah helping out their aunt Lora and Uncle Jason on the farm while they bring in hay. (They drove out with Grampa Ernie.) Madi enjoys watching the 9-month-old, 3-yr-old, and 5-yr-old while 9-yr-old Justin drives tractors all over and helps. Whenever we talk to the girls, we hear more about pedicures, movies, riding on ATV's, and visiting Great-Grandma than we do about working. I just hope it's as fun for Lora as it is for Madi!!
