Rachel (who reminds us of Pippi Longstocking anyway) was so excited to get this costume together for a friend's costume-birthday-party. She spent the week sewing patches on her shirt, deliberating over which monkey was the perfect Mr. Nilsson, and trying on Dad's boots. The best thing about the party is that it caused Rachel to do all her chores more quickly and cheerfully than I've ever seen her do them, so she wouldn't have to miss the party.
