We had fun playing lots of games with Dad on Father's Day, such as Daddy Charades (all about him).

I think Lyrad's favorite father's Day gifts (second only to homemade cards and coupons from the kiddos) were TIME and UNPAID LABORERS to work on the brick path out back, for much of Saturday. A friend wanted to get rid of lots of bricks, so we went and hauled a few truckloads of bricks home, while Lyrad planned his next project with all the free bricks. He loves working in the yard and watching the garden grow. So far we're eating zucchini, strawberries, beans, and beets, with our first eggplant nearly ready to pick (once I figure out what to do with it!). We eat Shamburgers all summer long (mock hamburgers, made of grated zuchini) and eaten with pickles and ketchup, the whole family loves them.
