I felt bad for Joshua that our family is so teenager-centered lately (instead of zoo and park trips, we do more band, shopping, social events, etc), so I spent an afternoon taking Joshua and our friend Rebecca (who is also the youngest in her family) to fun kids' spots downtown. They rode the train in the big park along the river,
they dug for dinosaur fossils at the Nature Center,
and they played around the water
until they both were pretty wet. It was fun to have a little kid day again!
