State signs (and other interesting signs) across the USA

In June I drove our "teenager car" to Florida  by myself (then flew home), and I loved passing the state signs welcoming me to Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, and Florida.  I tried taking photos of the signs but couldn't get a good shot as a sped by on the freeway. I missed the state signs on our way from TX to CA, too.  But when I left CA for FL, my goal was to get a photo of every state sign we passed.  Since I was the only driver (I decided it was less stress to just drive it all myself rather than let Eliza and Madi drive with their permits) I couldn't miss seeing a state sign.  The trick was to be ready with the camera as the state border approached!  It kept the trip a little more exciting to count down the miles to new states.  Above is a CA sign as we left CA.
Welcome to Nevada
We drove through an Indian reservation in Nevada

We didn't see the most beautiful part of Oregon, just a little desert-y corner

When we drove through Omaha to Iowa, there was NO state sign as the freeway was under construction.  I realized that the "Iowa" song from the "Music Man" just might be true.  But thankfully we found this sign just as we left Iowa (we turned around and re-entered to get this photo).

We were cheering when we saw this sign

You should have stopped by when you were coming through Missouri. Our home in Concordia is half a minute off the interstate. (I-70) Next time you come through, you'll have to stop by, so we can catch up. Maybe Isaac and Solana will meet up. I hope you enjoy your new adventures in Florida. --LuShaun Curtis

I was so sad not to see a Montana sign. But then if I had I would have had to be mad at you for not stopping in for a visit. ;) I REALLY miss you Alicia!
