Tubing

 Summer in Florida is full of fun....  including boating with our friends the Hendricks.

The children loved this tubing adventure.  I had to laugh at how much Rachel enjoyed it, because she did NOT want to come.  I had taken Rachel and Josh to the beach a few days earlier, and Rachel was ready to go after one hour.  But Josh and the cousins were having a blast, so we stayed another hour while Rachel sat in the hot car.  So she did not want to be stuck at a boating activity longer than she wanted to be there.  She insisted that she would sit home while we went boating.  So I just started listing all the chores she could do while we were all out on the boat...  and she scowlingly agreed to go on the boat with us. And she later admitted that she loved it.  Obviously we take our beautiful Florida for granted if I have to BRIBE my kids to go the beach/bayou.
