Another teenage driver!!

Rachel has her driver's permit!  In Florida, teens must have a permit for one year.  Rachel plans to get her license next February, the middle of her sophomore year.  Wow!  That's early for our family.  My other 3 all got their licenses at age 17, for their senior years.   Way to go, Rachel!  She's driving great.  I had such stressful experiences teaching my others to drive, that this time around I taught Rachel months ago (in parking lots) so that when she officially began driving, she already knew what she was doing.  As she drove me around town this week, I smiled as I thought back to my first time taking Isaac driving:  I grabbed a book to read as I got into the car with him.  I was planning to relax and enjoy some reading time while he drove slowly around some deserted streets.  But within seconds, he'd forgotten where the brake was and drove up onto a sidewalk...  that frantic experience was my introduction to driving with teenagers.  But after having 3 drivers learn to drive with no accidents (so far), I hope I'm not too relaxed with Rachel.
