Wow! Isn't he cute? This is my friend Mitzi's baby boy, only 20 minutes old. Mitzi called me at 4:15 a.m. on March 19 to drive her to the hospital (thankfully it's only 10 minutes away, so I knew I wouldn't be delivering a baby in the car). She was in labor and her husband was TDY at a base 4 hours away. So I got to be with her (and breathe with her) through the whole labor and delivery! What an incredible experience to see this cute little guy (not yet named) enter the world. He is so perfectly formed and such a miracle. Mitzi's husband arrived just in time for pushing and delivery (8:48 a.m). The baby was 2 1/2 weeks early but weighed over 8 pounds. What a little blessing for his family!
