We stopped at the Blue Bell Ice Cream Factory and bought ice cream on our drive to Galveston Beach.

Josh flew his kite at the beach and let out all of the string 
Lyrad and I watched from the (warm) shore while everyone else went all the way in. 
When Isaac drew a heart in the sand, I was excited to see what name he wrote in the heart... but I shouldn't have gotten my hopes up! (it says "Myself")

The boys loved making sand castles and digging for crabs and avoiding all the jelly fish along the beach. 
After our beach time, we found a dollar theater and watched the movie "Tangled." We all enjoyed it.Here's Madi on the beach ~~ the day she could beat Lyrad in a handstand contest was a happy day for her.
