On July 3, Grandma Shirley planned a great picnic in Provo so we could see some more of our Riley relatives and friends of ours who also happened to be in Utah that weekend. It was a HOT summer day, but Isaac wanted to wear his thick plaid shirt (above, with Eliza and cousin Olivia). I couldn't figure that out until I realized that Isaac hadn't done his laundry for a while so didn't have much choice in what to wear.
Our friends from Austin came by... Isaac loves (and misses) Texas so it was great for him to see one of his favorite TX families.

It was great to see our friends from Germany (who now live in Guam) and to meet their 1-year-old, Marshall.
