Watching the parade with cousins
Because we're in the south, people in the parade threw lots of Mardi Gras necklaces!
Our little town's Christmas parade was great! (and 2 hours long) I've heard about some parts of the country where it's not politically correct to say, "Merry Christmas," but that's not the case here. Everyone in the parade was calling out, "Merry Christmas," and there was a nativity scene in the parade and a large nativity set up in front of City Hall. It's a great place to celebrate Christmas! Our city was just named the "Best Place to Raise Kids in Florida."
