Baseball and Softball

 Rachel loves softball and is quite a hitter; she has never struck out all season.  At the last game (Rachel's team was behind by 2 points) when Rachel went up to bat, her coach called a time out and went to talk to her.  When I asked later what that talk was about, she said the coach told her to NOT swing at the first pitch, so the runner on first base could steal to 2nd.  His plan worked and Rachel got a strike, but when Rachel hit a foul on the next pitch I was getting nervous.  But of course (as the coach knew she would) Rachel did a beautiful hit on the 3rd pitch.  They still lost the game, but only by one point!

 Softball and baseball are taking over our lives lately; good thing we love it!
