This is Rachel during her first game this season. Her team tried hard but lost 1-15. Rachel hit a double and brought in their team's only point! Rachel also tried pitching for her first time. She struck out the first two batters, then later (after several more batters) struck out another batter. She LOVES baseball! She loves being the only girl on the team and being the oldest on the 10-12 year old team. Her proudest moment as shortstop during her 2nd game was throwing the ball to first and getting someone out, then later she got someone out on 3rd, too. I love watching her in action!
