Bats under the bridge

Here's a blast-from-the-past photo from St. Louis in 1997. One of our neighbors back then was cute little Nathan (second from left). Isaac was 3rd from the left, Madi and "Mary" were on the left and right in back. We moved away from Missouri soon after this photo was taken and didn't see Nathan and his family again for 13 years, when we both ended up in Texas recently. It has been so fun to see their family again and our children still get along as well as they did when they were 2 years old.

Our friends from Houston came up Labor Day weekend and spent the night. They wanted to see the downtown bats come out at night, and they took Isaac, Eliza and Madi along with them. It was a great Labor Day weekend with them!
