Lyrad loves his garden. Most nights, Lyrad gets home from work while it's dark, so he takes a flashlight outside to check on his garden. (I guess it's like his pet dog? Since we'll never have a dog.) Though the frequent rain is wonderful, the constant humidity is not so wonderful. Our first little zucchini rotted before it was big enough to eat! We've had about 4 eggplants so far. Last night we had chickpea-eggplant-curry and tonight we're having eggplant parmigian. Isaac can enjoy his roast beef and steak in the BYU cafeteria while we live it up with eggplant and beans out here.
I love finding little squashes in the garden, while Josh gets excited about finding other "treasures":
like frogs and lizards.
