I am so good at (or should I say "bad at") starting projects and not finishing them. For the past few years I've been trying to compile a family recipe book of our favorite recipes, so that when my kiddos go to cook something I don't have to tell them the recipe as they go, or say "Here's the recipe, but change this and this and this..." I was planning to have my recipe book compiled before any of them left to college... that didn't happen either. My hang-ups were: I couldn't figure out how to make a book look good with computer graphics, and I was afraid that as soon as I printed it all out I would think of more recipes I'd forgotten to include. So when Snapfish offered me a free photo book, that offer (with its expiration date quickly approaching) was the motivation I needed to finally get a family recipe book printed out (at least a first draft; it will probably be revised every year or so). So here are some recipes, along with random pictures of our family with food:
