We have lived in Provo, St. Louis, Travis AFB, Guam, England, Germany, Vacaville (CA), Austin (TX) and now we get to try out life in Florida. Never a dull moment at our crazy house...

Home of the Truman Show

What better claim to fame could we want? "The Truman Show" was filmed near here!

On the way back from Madi's dive meet in Panama City, we stopped by the cute town of Seaside, where "The Truman Show" was filmed.  Sadly, there was not much Truman memorabilia and no t-shirts and postcards for sale.  (I wanted a "Free Truman" shirt like my sister in law has.)  We found the little market where some of the beginning scenes take place, and they had this poster on the wall (made up of hundreds of tiny photographs of scenes from the movie).

This is the gazebo Truman drove around and around...

This was the house where Truman lived.

The town was adorable.  We loved it.  "Truman Show" is one of our family favorite movies; it's the movie Isaac wanted to watch the night before he left home for college.
