Rachel's backyard campout

Rachel was SO SAD to miss her first year of Girl's Camp with her friends, so we let her have a campout in the backyard with 6 church friends. They roasted hot dogs and marshmallows and slept in our tent.

They had fun dancing in the dark backyard by the campfire and taking photos.

Lyrad and Josh slept in the little tent nearby to keep them safe (and quiet), and I joined them when I got lonely in the middle of the night. I thought the party girls would sleep in on Saturday since they'd whispered 'til after midnight, but they were up with the sun before 6 a.m. to watch "Alice in Wonderland."

They decorated t-shirts and signed each others'.
