Rachel and I left CA after her baseball game ended at 8 p.m. and arrived in Reno at midnight.
We stayed with Lyrad's brother Nick and loved seeing Aunt Julie and cousins Molly and Johnny
It was hard to leave these cute cousins to drive 600 miles that day, but at least we had more cute Riley cousins waiting for us in Utah! Rachel and I spent the next night at my Aunt Mary and Uncle Steve's (north of SLC), then on Sunday drove out to a small town in eastern Utah to meet Lyrad and Josh at church. After church, lots of extended family got together for Uncle Larry's great dutch oven cooking and to watch all the cousins run wild. Josh (the city boy) got to play real Cowboys and Indians as his little cousins and 2nd cousins in cowboy boots threw lassos and captured each other. We also visited Lyrad's grandma who can't leave her home much anymore.
Whoo hoo! Always fun to see this sign and know that the 411 miles of Nevada are finished...
