Surprise visit from 4 girls

On our 2nd-to-last night in our house in California, we ate the most delicious filipino food at our friends' house down the street. Eliza and Madi stopped at another friend's house on our walk home at 10 p.m., then as they entered our cul-de-sac they saw people on our driveway putting things on our garage door. The people on the driveway got scared when they saw the twins approaching, and they tried to hide. Eliza and Madi were scared until they figured out they'd caught Jocelyn, Natalie, Kristi, and Briahna red-handed. The 4 girls (all Isaac's age, but friends with our twins, too) were putting post-it notes (with messages on each one) all over the garage door! Since they were caught, they came inside and hung out in our empty echoing house. They laughed at how Isaac was out in the garage sweeping and they heard him trying out the echo. They also wished Isaac a happy 17th birthday. Isaac didn't want a party for his birthday; he just wanted to go on a date. Thanks to Grandma and cousin Margo (for transportation and arranging it all), he spent his birthday at Sunsplash Water Park (an hour away) with Natalie, Jason, and Chloe, while Lyrad and I packed up and cleaned the house.
