Eliza and her friend Connor (volunteering at a 5K above) went to the Homecoming Dance. Connor handed her a soccer ball while he was giving her a ride home, and written on the ball was, "Will you go to Homecoming with me?"
To answer him, Eliza made a basketball cake and left it on his desk at school. (He's on the basketball team.)
