Pumpkin Patch

Josh really wanted to buy a pet rabbit.  I told him if he could be responsible, follow through, and do his daily tasks without constant reminders from me, then we would buy a baby rabbit the next week when the pumpkin patch had them for sale again.  And, no, we still don't have a rabbit.  I was pretty sure I was "safe" from having a pet, as Josh is a little chatterbox and would rather chat away with Rachel or me than stay on task and finish homework and chores quickly.

My days of people whispering and staring at me and all 5 children ("Are they all HERS?"  "Are they triplets?" etc) are over.  We now often blend in and look like the All-American family of a mom, dad, and 2 kids.  As much as Eliza and Madi would've enjoyed a photo shoot at the pumpkin patch, Madi was at a debate tournament all day (she's in a Speech class) trying to promote the privatization of space travel/research (she didn't get to choose her own topic).  Eliza was finishing chores so she could do fun things that night.

Look at Rachel's very long arm!
