Small town life

Cute bumper sticker
One of the perks of small town life is the great used bookstore down the road.  When I first drove by these outdoor shelves, I thought they must be painted on the wall.  But no, they're real books!  The bookstore workers told me that people come at all hours of the night to find a book to read (and then put the $1 through a slot).  Once when a hurricane was approaching, the workers covered these shelves with tarps.  But at 2 a.m. people were out there lifting up the tarps with flashlights to find books to keep them busy during the hurricane.  Fun place!   The 2 things our town is lacking is a frozen yogurt place  and a copy store (like Staples).  But now a frozen yogurt place is being built!  Eliza, Madi and I are thrilled and are already planning many yogurt trips together...    I guess a copy shop isn't a necessity (and there is one within 30 minutes of here); maybe it's a good excuse to give up writing my Christmas Saga/Letter.  =)
